Routine Activities
Day-to-day tasks such as changing services and checking worklists, along with less frequent activities such as merging services and organisations.
Once Choose and Book is implemented within your organisation, the system will require ongoing maintenance and sometimes changes. These activities should be done on a regular basis.
For example Services providers need to redefine and optimise their Directory of Services (DOS) to reflect current services in their organisation. Referrers need to check worklists to ensure that patients are booked into appointments and accepted by the provider.
Changes to the DOS, when to make them and how to make them; moving from Indirectly Bookable Services (IBS) to Directly Bookable Services (DBS); displaced appointments; merging and de-merging organisations.
Managing unfulfilled UBRNs; referral letters - responsibilities and how breaches are counted; managing mergers of GP practices.
