Choose and Book Named Clinician E-learning module.

In line with the ‘Choice of named consultant-led team’ contract implementation guidance published by the Department of Health in October 2011 the national Choose and Book team at Connecting for Health have prepared the following e-learning module.

Using ‘named clinician’ functionality to support named consultant-led teams

This module covers aspects of the functionality from both a service provider and referrer view.  The module is separated into individual lessons to allow users to view the entire topic or segments that are specific to their role.  After each lesson the user will be able to test their knowledge on the subject and print a certificate of completion.

Choose and Book Service Definer E-learning module

This e-learning training is designed to enable you to set up services within Choose and Book using the Service Definer role. The course is available to all NHS staff. The course is aimed at anyone who will be using the Service Definer role.

Course overview

This course consists of five learning modules plus a module to test your knowledge.

Module 1 - Introduction to Service Definer e-learning. (Duration: 5 Mins)

Module 2 - Directly Bookable Service (DBS) Functionality. (Duration: 15 Mins)

Module 3 - Indirectly Bookable Services (IBS) Functionality. (Duration: 15 Mins)

Module 4 - Organisation Details, Workgroup Management, and Enquiries. (Duration: 10 Mins)

Module 5 - Using SNOMED CT terminology. (Duration: 10 Mins)

Module 6 – Test your knowledge (Duration: 15 Mins)
